Educational Services, Inc. is the founder and leader of school employee lease back programs in Arizona.   From a humble beginning of five teachers in a single elementary district in 1999, ESI has grown to currently serve well over one hundred school districts, charter schools, community colleges, and other governmental agencies.   Over the past seven years, ESI has developed school leasing in conjunction with Arizona State Legislature, the Arizona Attorney Generals Office, Arizona State Retirement System, and County Attorney Offices including Pinal, Apache, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Santa Cruz and Yuma Counties, in addition to our own private counsel Udall, Shumway, Blackhurst, Allen & Lyons, P.C.   In 2004, Arizona School Risk Retention Trust, Inc. extended their $50,000,000 liability insurance umbrella to include employees leased through ESI.

ESI negotiates a standard contract with clients, takes care of billing and payroll, withholds all applicable payroll taxes and issues W-2 forms at the end of the year.  Our fee structure is designed to give the district control and flexibility.  We realize that one size doesnt fit all and have structured our plan accordingly.   Each district determines salaries, benefits, length of contract, etc.   Administrators and governing boards appreciate the flexibility of being able to structure the plan according to the needs of the district.

In 2001 and 2007, following a competitive bid process, ESI was awarded a statewide contract through Mohave Educational Services Cooperative (MESC). Statewide contracts have also been awarded to ESI through Greater Phoenix Purchasing Consortium of Schools (GPPCS) and Strategic Alliance for Volume Expenditures (SAVE).  These contracts make it possible for school districts to contract with ESI without the expense of the competitive bid process.   Districts immediately gain budget capacity by structuring a win-win formula for both the retiree and the district.
